Brief Biography and or accomplishements

Badr Benjelloun is a researcher in livestock genomics at INRA-Morocco and a visiting scientist at Laboratoire d’Ecologie Alpine in France. After his initial post-graduate education as an Engineer in Agronomy, he achieved his PhD education at the University of Grenoble Alps in France. He has been involved/PI in many national and international collaboration projects and initiatives (mainly EU funded projects) with the aim of understanding how genome diversity is distributed in livestock species under various environments. His ongoing work is focusing on the use of various Omics' technologies for implementing sustainable breeding schemes for small ruminants and chickens. Furthermore, since September 2020, he is the Head of Tadla Regional Research Centre for Agronomic Research, INRA Morocco.
