Dr. El-Aalaoui Mohamed obtained his Ph.D. in Entomology and Integrated Pest Management under the title "Integrated Pest Management against the cactus scale Dactylopius opuntiae (Hemiptera: Dactylopiidae) in Morocco, it is the first Ph.D. thesis dealing the cactus cochineal Dactylopius opuntiae in Morocco and in the Mediterranean zone. Dr. El-Aalaoui Mohamed obtained his Master's degree at the Faculty of Science and Technology of Settat. His MSc thesis was on the possibility of using selected fluorescent Pseudomonas isolates as a PGPR to control key pests of tomato. His MSc was a result of a collaboration between FST-Settat and INRA. The work achieved will contribute to improving the use of microbial biopesticides for the control of pests and diseases in tomatoes. Dr. El-Aalaoui did his bachelor of Sciences in plant biotechnology. He also attended several professional pieces of training (plant nursery at INRA and others).
